The Why

So many ideas, so many dreams.
Our brains are spinning with the possibilities.

It's difficult to dissect a dream into steps.
We just want to be there.

While we work as fast as we can behind the scenes to get there, I pray that God in His great love and mercy watches over the children we love so much.

If all of our ramblings haven't quite clicked with you yet;
if you don't yet understand why we are moving across the world,
please watch this documentary and see the need and the faces that have turned our world upside down.

These children are real and they are beautiful.
Jesus has called us to be His hands and feet to them.

This is why.

  1. I posted this a while back on my blog as well. I was disappointed nobody shared it, commented or watched it. I feel like people can't be bothered to learn about the plight of these people. I hope I am wrong but I can't help but get a little upset about it. This documentary is amazingly heartbreaking. I commend you for posting this and pray you reach many with it! Its nice to see that others feel like I do and want to spread the word. God bless you and what you are trying to do!

    1. Andrea, it's definitely an uphill battle and can be discouraging, but I KNOW God is opening people's eyes. He is turning hearts toward the orphan. Keep at it. God will totally bless it!!

      PS- I found you on FB and messaged you. Promise I'm not a stalker! :)

  2. Hi Kim,

    I watched the video when I saw it last week in your other tab section. The parts of the children who are bedridden is heartbreaking. I want someone to get Marguerite out, like yesterday, if she is still alive. Learning about the physical abuse some of the young boys suffer when transferred to an older child/adult facility was also so very sad, but not surprising.

    I will do whatever I can to support you as you embark on this journey to help these children.
